Full time study
Tuition fees
Please refer to the City College Coventry website for the fee costs for each academic year of the course. In addition to tuition fees, there will be an examination/registration fee. You can apply online to the Student Loans Company for a loan to cover the cost of your fees. If you do not apply for tuition fee support, the College will ask you to pay the full amount.
Living costs
You may be eligible for financial support towards your living costs through the Student Loans Company. Depending on household income, you could also get a non-repayable grant towards the costs of your course. To apply for both the loan and the grant, go to www.direct.gov.uk/studentfinance. You can also get information on any additional funding e.g. Disabled Student’s Allowance, childcare grant, which you may be able to claim.
Part time study
Part-time higher education students can also apply for assistance with tuition fees and other costs related to the course e.g. books, materials and travel. The amount you receive depends on your personal circumstances and household income. Any financial help you receive does not have to be paid back. To apply, go to www.direct.gov.uk/studentfinance
