Course Fees

Our courses may cost less than you think. Some of them do not have any tuition fees. For example if you are in receipt of means tested benefit, or dependent on someone who is, then fees may be waived completely.

On many of the Essential Skills programmes in literacy, numeracy and English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) fees may also be waived completely for home students. If you are unsure whether or not you are entitled to remission on your course we will be able to advise you.

Full time courses

Full time programmes are generally exempt from programme fees, for 16-18 year olds, although a registration/Books, Materials or Equipment charge may be made.

International students

Overseas students who do not qualify for external funding will be charged International Student rates for their course. .Please contact the International Office (024) 76791541 or +44 24 7679 1541 for further details or email international@covcollege.ac.uk

Employer Sponsorship

If your employer is paying your fees for you, you can obtain a fee authorisation form from Finance or Reception. This must be completed and stamped by an authorised representative of your company and returned to Finance.

Tuition fee refund policy

If you withdraw from a course, you will not normally be entitled to a refund, and all outstanding fees remain due and payable, unless circumstances are exceptional. If you require a refund please write to the college finance manager.

If you are paying a fee you will need to do this when you enrol. Payments can be made at reception or finance with cash, cheque or major credit and debit cards.

If you are unable to settle your fees when you enrol you will be advised of the options open to you. Financial support is available to some students to find out if you are eligible please contact Student Services.

Cancellation of a course

The College reserves the right to discontinue or combine any course with insufficient numbers. If the College closes the programme (and does not provide a suitable alternative) the full fee will be refunded.

Other costs

We may also be able to help you with the cost of any books, equipment, examinations and childcare. For more information on this please click here.
