The Apprenticeship programme in Accounting is designed for young people who are interested in pursuing a career in Accounts and Finance. It is an integrated training programme negotiated between the employer, apprentice and training provider. An Apprenticeship usually takes between two years to four years to complete and is a mixture of attendance at College and in-company assessment.
Entry Requirements
To gain employment as an Apprentice (Level 2) you should have at least GCSE English Language and Mathematics at Grade C or above. Interviews with the College tutor and potential employers are also involved in the selection process.
To gain employment as an Advanced Apprentice (Level 3), you should have at least three GCSEs at Grade C or above including English Language and Mathematics.

Employment
Most apprentices are employed so you can apply for an apprenticeship with an employer directly from school. However, it is possible to enrol on a vocational course at College during which the College will try to help you gain employment as an apprentice.
