The College Awards for City College Coventry students took place on October 21st at Coventry Cathedral. This event is the combination of the College’s Graduation Ceremony and Annual Awards Ceremony.
Councillor David Welsh presented the students with their awards in the morning and former Olympian Sharron Davies MBE presented the graduates with their certificates in the afternoon.
The Annual Awards is the culmination of College studies by our students who have origins from all over the world and from all walks of life. They represent a diversity of subjects, enriching and strengthening our common purpose in the search for knowledge and the pursuit of excellence. Over eighty students have been nominated by their tutors for their determination and achievements throughout the year.
Over two hundred students were invited to the Graduation part of the ceremony. These include Higher National Diploma or Certificate diplomats, students who have completed Foundation Degrees and other students who have completed professional courses equivalent to level 4 and above
Staff, students and their families all had a brilliant time!
